The Alpha SV Bib from Arc’teryx is made for those moments when the weather leaves no room for compromise. The durable 100D GORE-TEX PRO ePE material offers you reliable protection against wind, snow and rain while also providing high breathability. These trousers really come into their own on high-altitude alpine adventures where every feature counts: they’re waterproof, super durable and yet still allow you to move freely.

Carefully designed down to the last detail

The full-length side zips allow you to quickly put them on and take them off without having to remove your shoes, which is ideal for changing weather conditions or layering. The fit is close-fitting but not restrictive, and can be worn comfortably under a climbing harness. The minimalist gaiters are also cleverly designed, reducing bulk without compromising on function and reliably keeping snow out.

Safety and storage space

The integrated RECCO reflector increases your visibility during search and rescue operations, which is a small detail with a big impact. The three pockets are also practical, as they’re easily accessible even when wearing a harness and offer space for maps, energy bars or gloves. Plus, everything is positioned so that it does not interfere with climbing or walking.
