The Swabian company Engel Natur produces locally under fair conditions, paying close attention to dyes and finishing as well as emphasising the importance of short transport distances and environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes. The result is fair, sustainable textiles that boast the natural properties of wool and work just as well on the hills as they do in the city, keeping you warm along the way.The wool is resistant to odours and can absorb lots of moisture without becoming saturated or feeling wet. The jacket is an excellent choice for in between seasons along with a jumper. In cold weather, it’ll also fit under a thick, somewhat looser-fitting winter jacket for that extra supply of warmth.As with all natural fabrics, wool is extremely durable and easy to care for.
