The Northwave Veloce Extreme was developed in collaboration with the current world hour record holder and Olympic champion. Veloce means ”fast” in Italian. Fast is not just about speed, it’s about the many aspects that come together to create a great performance. Every fragment of second counts, and those who are able to crack it will find instinct and concentration, strength and determination. Speed is the art of overcoming time!

Handcrafted in Italy, at the heart of the high-end racing shoes is the all-new Powershape HT sole. It’s made from 100% unidirectional carbon to optimise your power transfer to the pedals. This minimises the energy consumption and reduces muscle effort. The secret of the sole lies in the exclusive high-tail structure with an asymmetrical design that adapts to the outer heel while guaranteeing optimal support for the inner heel. The patented PowerShape system offers additional support and comfort at the arch of the foot. In addition, the rubber heels pads are replaceable to extend the life of the shoes. Larger vents increase air flow.

The new, lighter Anatomic Reticular Support technology (ARS 2.0) provides additional support that perfectly wraps the foot for an optimal fit. It works in conjunction with the PowerShape HT sole to ensure the correct foot position for maximum power transfer to the pedal.

The underlap construction improves the fit. It feels even and doesn’t cause pressure points on the foot.The individual layers of the upper material are pushed into the inside of the shoe using the SLW3 fastener. The upper features laser cutouts to optimise ventilation and thermoregulation.

With the Veloce Extreme, you’ll pedal more effectively and feel less muscle fatigue in your feet than with many other road cycling shoes. Combined with the outstanding comfort, this will take you up many levels and ultimately make you faster!
